100% of the proceeds from Simply Serving- KIDS cooking classes are used to provide freezers filled with high-quality meals to families impacted by cancer.

Simply Serving’s Cooking Classes are specially designed for children who have the desire to bake and cook. Ages 5-12 with a capacity of 8 seats per class. We offer a limited amount of  weekly classes. Our classes are 1.5 hours long and each month they are around a specific theme. Your child will learn in a safe environment. Through creative classes and diverse techniques, we enhance children’s ability to socialize with other, be creative, and develop their skills in the kitchen.

Monthly Classes

Classes are offered on a first come first served basis. Space is limited. Our next 4-week session will be themed  “Game Day Gourmet.”  We are going to be learning some really fun recipes around this theme. The students will learn new techniques in the kitchen and should be able to replicate all recipes at home! Culinary Week 1: Game Day Guacamole with homemade chips; Culinary Week 2: Sporty Cookie Cake; Culinary Week 3: Ballpark Pretzels; Culinary Week 4: Game Day Chili. Due to limited resources we are unable to accomodate food allergies at this time.

Our Workshops are meant to be a fun one-day class for kids who want to come in and and take a class  without a recurring commitment or just want to check us out!  The format is identical to our weekly classes, and the recipes often align with the season or an upcoming holiday. Our Workshops are available to children ages 6 -12. Check back frequently for workshop class additions + information. Workshops are offered on a first come first served basis. We will be updating this page often and spots fill up very quickly for these special sessions.

At Simply Serving Cooking School we teach the kids all aspects of the cooking and baking process. The importance of preparation before starting to bake or cook by making sure that we have all our ingredients needed. Being creative when cooking or baking, but still following the recipe. Plating our food for presentation before serving. And arguably the most important, how to clean up the kitchen independently.
